Marg Shelgenberger has been a American actor who came to notoriety for her portrayal of Siobhan Ryan on the TV series 'Ryan's Love'. The show has been a memorable trip for a girl from the town to Hollywood. In the beginning, her desire wasn't to be an actor. In fact, she wanted to follow into her mother's footsteps, and eventually become nurse. The desire to act arose during a visit to colleges in order to determine which path she wanted to pursue. Talent scouts spotted her when she was performing in a show at the university. He advised her to take on a job as an actor. After working in 'Ryan's Hope', she bagged "China Beach," among other notable film and television parts, which established her place as an actor. The role she played as a victim of exposure to chemicals in the film "Erin Brockovich" was among her most acclaimed performances. Marg has a busy schedule yet manages to squeeze in time for charity work. Every year she is the host of an event with celebrities that raise funds for studies into the breast cancer.
