Kyra Minturn Sedgwick is one of the well-known American television and big-screen actress. Her name is known all over the world, and in particular America because of her leading role in the TV The Closer's series. Sedgwick started to become fascinated by the art of the arts, Broadway, and acting at the age of 12 old. Her mother was extremely interested in Broadway and was able to introduce the show to her. Sedgwick was barely sixteen when she had her first professional role on the show 'Another World. She had a desire to be a renowned actor, not just small TV roles that first attracted her. Sedgwick was a star on American television by her flawless performing. The Closer, which ran for seven seasons, was awarded many awards including Emmy, Golden Globe and Emmy.
