Kyra Minton was born in the city of New York, and is an American actor. Her name is well-known throughout the world but especially in America. Sedgwick began to be fascinated by performing artistic arts, Broadway, and acting at the age of 12 of age. Sedgwick was first introduced to Broadway from her mother. Sedgwick was only 16 when she made her professional acting debut in the series 'Another World. While she started out with tiny-time television roles however, it was the notion of becoming a professional actress that attracted her. In the beginning, her role as a support in the Tom Cruise-starring movie Born on the Fourth of July was a major success and made her an actor on the large screen. After the success of this film, Sedgwick got more roles in films such as "Singles," "Heart & Souls", 'Phenomenon' and so on. Her husband, actor Kevin Bacon met her in the TV film 'Lemon Sky. He and she got married at the age of 22. Sedgwick was an incredibly popular actress in American television thanks to her impressive performance on "The Closer", a seven-season TV series that earned her the Golden Globe Award and Emmy.
